Maud Laforest is a young talented classical guitarist, formerly a student of Manuel Barrueco at the Peabody Conservatory, where she holds a Bachelor and a Master of Music in Guitar Performance.
She has won numerous prizes in international competitions, including the Guitar Foundation of America, the Mottola International Guitar Competition (Italy), and the Arhanes International Guitar Competition (Greece). Maud impresses audiences around the world with her wide repertoire, great musicality and flawless technique, whether performing solo or as part of a chamber group. Maud Laforest est un jeune talent français de la guitare classique. Elle est titulaire d'un Bachelor et Master de musique du Peabody Conservatory à Baltimore où elle fut l'élève de Manuel Barrueco pendant cinq ans.
Lauréate de nombreux concours internationaux, Maud a notamment été primée au Guitar Foundation of America (USA), à Nürtingen (Allemagne), Mottola (Italie), Arhanes (Grèce), et à l'UFAM (Paris). Elle est appréciée dans le monde entier pour sa musicalité, grande aisance technique, et son répertoire très varié, que ce soit en solo ou avec d'autres musiciens.
